I don't think I've seen your daughter's picture before - beautiful! ANd carving pumpkins tomogether is a lovely tradition - first year I haven't gotten a Ruth jack-o-lantern. She's a real artist in pumpkin - too busy hatching baby this year, I think, getting pumpkin bell instead of carving one. Stil I miss her art and look forward to next year.
I just love seeing your daughter, Diane. I don't think I have seen her before. She is a beautiful woman. What fun to carve pumpkins with your adult child. I haven't carved in a long time but then, we don't have trick or treaters here either. I do have a few pumpkins sitting around in tact for decoration though.
I have lived in Boca Raton, Fl for twelve years. I am from Jamestown, NY, home of Lucille Ball, Roger Tory Peterson, Natalie Merchant and the Ten Thousand Maniacs. I belong to an online writers' group, The Skywriters. I am a member of The Poets of the Palm Beaches. I am also a member of the Florida Writers Association. I regularly attend the yearly Festival of the Palm Beaches which features famous poets who teach workshops and also read their poetry. My most recent teacher was the most wonderful Eleanor Wilner. I encourage everyone to check out the Festival. I love poetry, I love writing poetry. Four years ago my husband of thirty years was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. It is our new journey and we have been active in the crusade to fight this devastating disease that robs life by killing brain cells. My husband speaks regularly for the Alzheimer's Association. I am his care partner.

Great to see Erin's photo. You both look so happy and great Halloween pumpkins as well!

Great picture. Erin looks even more beautiful than I remember her.
Of course the Mom has always been a beauty. The pumpkins are not bad either....
