- I have lived in Boca Raton, Fl for twelve years. I am from Jamestown, NY, home of Lucille Ball, Roger Tory Peterson, Natalie Merchant and the Ten Thousand Maniacs. I belong to an online writers' group, The Skywriters. I am a member of The Poets of the Palm Beaches. I am also a member of the Florida Writers Association. I regularly attend the yearly Festival of the Palm Beaches which features famous poets who teach workshops and also read their poetry. My most recent teacher was the most wonderful Eleanor Wilner. I encourage everyone to check out the Festival. I love poetry, I love writing poetry. Four years ago my husband of thirty years was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. It is our new journey and we have been active in the crusade to fight this devastating disease that robs life by killing brain cells. My husband speaks regularly for the Alzheimer's Association. I am his care partner.

How neat it is. I didn't know DWGood painted. I know you treasure this. I would love to have my bookshelves full of writings from my friends and family and all my paintings from people I know, etc. I feel surrounded by those things more so in NC with my plates from friends and family. Your house must have really looked Christmasy and just beautiful.
